Studio 1A, White Cove (ground floor)

Accessed from both reception and the changing/make-up room is Studio with an 18’ wide white scoop wall. This has been painted with a specialist diamond hard paint with a very high pigment so as well as being hard-wearing you get phenomenal light in this area.

This is used primarily for high key shots, product shots, our portfolio building and digitals photoshoots and most of our fashion shoots and model training days.

There is also a variety of 9’ wide coloured backdrops. In addition to the ones shown on the roll we have over 20 additional colour rolls to choose from and can happily change colour for you between sets.

We are putting together a comprehensive list of everything we have in the studio but it includes:

Soft boxes ranging from 0.45m to 1.2m diameter

Modifiers
Reflectors and flags
Beauty dishes
LED panel lighting
Video lights

We also have a wide range of screens and material backdrops that can quickly be set up on a bar for you.

We also have a range of floor coverings including carpet, vinyl's and sheets.

Props include a large selection of chairs, chaise longue, boxes, ladders and in the changing room, a rail of clothing and a cupboard full of shoes, hats and various props that you are welcome ot use.

If you have an idea for a particular set let us know and if we haven't got it we can build it for you, we are constantly bringing in new items to the studio to keep it as fresh as possible.

Studio 1B, Rain set (ground floor)

We are proud at Image Red to be one of the few studios in the country with a dedicated rain set. This dedicated rain set was built by Jon and features a steady stream of fresh water which can be adjusted to match the theme of the scene you are shooting.

Water is taken directly from the mains, we do not use any chemicals or additives to the water so you don't have to worry about the effects of Chlorine.

The 100 square foot rainfall set looks amazing when used in conjunction with coloured light. As well as brackets either side of the rain set to hold coloured gels or continuous lights, the back wall features coloured fluorescent bars which can be moved to suit your style.

We also have 2 large smoke machines which combined with coloured lighting creatives some amazing shots and videos, perfect for band videos.

Our rain set props include macs, umbrellas, chairs, and clothing.

There is a changing room right next to the rain set with fresh towels and robes for your comfort so you don't have to go far to get dry and there is a hot shower right next to the changing room.

The rain set can be hired out along with or in addition to the other studios for single one to one shoots or group shoots which are very popular.

Studio 2, Sets (first floor)

Our latest project is the refurbishment of Studio 2. This has been transformed into a studio of interchangeable sets, currently set up with an office and lounge set but can easily be changed for example for low key portrait or moody shots. We can also transform the area completely for our forthcoming Halloween and Christmas shoots. If you have a theme or set you want us to build, we can do it for you in Studio 2.

Studio 2 has access to all of the lighting available in Studio 1. We can easily move anything you need to the studio required. As with studio 1 there are loads of power sockets to minimise on trailing wires.

Studio 3, Boudoir / Content area (first floor)

Our recently launched Studio 3 features a brand new high quality boudoir set, perfect for low key moody shots or or video content.

The boudoir set features a brand new bed, furniture, flooring and wallpaper, this brand new set is up and ready for you to start shooting in.

We also have a massage therapy set and are building additional sets in Studio 3

Mansion Set - Coming Soon!

In addition to building a new sauna set in Studio 2, we are also in the process of building a new mansion set on our first floor landing. If you like to shoot natural light the high ceiling on the first floor with peaked glass panels provides perfect natural light for most of the day.

Our new mansion set will feature panelled walling, new furniture and we cant wait to show it off to you.

Outdoor Garden Set

We are lucky enough to have an outdoor area for outdoor shots accessed from the rear of the studio. There is small woodland walk area where shots like this one from ndpimages can be taken.

Built by Simon, we have also now have a raised outdoor garden set with artificial turf and screening. This can be used with garden furniture, coloured bean bags or just as it is. We are looking forward to getting some snow shots on here soon!

Additional sets

As well as our three studio, rain set, landing set and outdoor set we have tried to use every corner of the studio to maximise the content that can be produced.

We have utilised wall space with themed wallpaper, we are creating sets in doorways and our creaky stairs have been used several times for some angled shots.
